I called this blog croaking frog because it was originally going to be about all things Georgian.
“The frog is croaking in the water” is the tongue-twister Georgians use to remind foreigner visitors what they’re letting themselves in for. It’s rather, er, guttural.
ბაყაყი წყალში ყიყინებს baq’aq’i ts’q'alshi q’iq’inebs
Hear it in Georgian as croaked by Dv0rsky
I was made to say it till it I was blue in the face and sore in the throat. I got a bit fed up, and decided to learn to speak Georgian well enough that I wouldn’t have to say it any more.
